Making a farmer owned dairy brand part of everyday family life

Working with Maola and creative lead Agency 29, Storyfarm produced three spots for the Farmer in the Fridge campaign. The work introduces a friendly farmer character who lives in the family fridge, turning Maola’s farmer-owned roots into a familiar, funny presence in everyday routines.

the challenge

The Challenge

Maola wanted busy families to connect its farmer-owned story with the dairy products they use every day. The campaign needed to build awareness across three product lines (milk, creams, and Maola More) while giving each one a clear and distinct role. That meant turning a broad brand promise into something specific enough to sell individual products.

the solution

The Solution

The Farmer in the Fridge concept makes freshness tangible: opening the refrigerator becomes a direct connection to the farm. Rather than a distant figure, the farmer is a helpful part of the family’s routine, with humor built around moments the audience instantly recognizes.

Storyfarm brought the concept to life across three spots, each built around a different everyday situation. Whipping Cream uses playful “Yes, Chef” exchanges to make the product part of a baking story. Maola’s Mornings places milk and cream inside the rush to get everyone out the door. Maola More works its protein, fiber, low-sugar, and lactose-free benefits into family banter about sports and fitness.

Each spot tells its own product story while reinforcing the same campaign character and closing invitation: “Find the farmer in your fridge.”

the Results

The Results

The finished work gives Maola three connected product stories within a repeatable campaign structure. Each spot stands on its own, yet together they build a consistent brand presence that can extend to future products. The campaign shows how a single brand idea can become specific, entertaining situations that still leave room for product information and a clear next step.

For a sales conversation

Maola wanted families to connect its farmer-owned story with the products in their fridge. We worked with Maola and Agency 29, the creative lead, on three Farmer in the Fridge spots, each with a different job: baking, the morning rush, or explaining Maola More’s nutrition benefits. The shared farmer character tied the campaign together, while the dialogue gave each product a reason to be there. It’s a useful example when a client has one brand idea that needs to work across several products.
