Baltimore Child Abuse Center needed a sexting-awareness campaign that could reach teens and parents without sounding preachy or easy to ignore. Storyfarm helped shape the message, the creative, and the media approach.
BCAC was trying to address a real and growing problem: teens sharing explicit images without understanding the consequences. The campaign had to speak differently to teens and parents, and it had to compete in channels where generic warnings get skipped almost instantly.
Storyfarm narrowed the messaging by audience and built the campaign around real audience insight, including focus group findings about how teens think and respond. The work combined creative development with a cross-channel media plan spanning social, TV, and movie theaters.
The campaign reached 806,224 people on a spend of $27,428. Its 3-second watch rate hit 95.51 percent, and the completion rate for the 60-second video reached 46.43 percent. Most importantly, teen engagement outperformed parent engagement. BCAC did not just get reach. It got attention from the audience most at risk
